Carnival Magic’s dry dock transformation is coming along nicely. Cruise Hive has been keeping readers updated with the latest photos from the Grand Bahama shipyard in Freeport, Bahamas. The dream class ship is receiving a ton of FUN 2.0 upgrades and general enhancements just about everywhere.
Guys Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Tequila Bar, Pizzeria del Capitano and the Alchemy Bar are all being added to help improve the guest experience. The ship is also getting lot’s of new flooring, carpeting and bedding. Exterior improvements are also being done and once complete the Carnival Magic will look like new.
Below are the latest refurbishment photos from our favorite Australian crew member Russell Otway:
From March 6 the 3,645 passenger Carnival Magic will go back to sailing Caribbean cruise out of Galveston, Texas but not for long. The 130,000 gross ton ship will be redeployed to begin Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises from Port Canaveral, Florida in April. Guests will be able to experience the very best Carnival features thanks to the 2 week refurbishment.
Take a look at the last batch of photos here, as you can see the spaces are taking shape and now just days to go until the first passengers can enjoy them.
