Dream Cruises which is a luxury cruise line in Asia has unveiled the hull artwork for World Dream, coming towards the end of this year.
Only cruisers in Asia will be able to sail on World Dream which will be the sister ship to Genting Dream. The ships hull artwork was unveiled in a new video for English speakers and those in Asia. The artwork is being done by renowned London-based, Shanghainese artist, Jacky Tsai. The artwork which will be painted onto the ships hull at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg Germany is named “A Tale of Two Dreams”, the visual narrative will play upon the age old themes of pure love and harmony.
World Dream Hull Artwork Revealed:
World Dream will be among one of the largest cruise ships based in China and is currently being built dedicated for the regional market. Cruisers can expect to see more refined spaces for Chinese guests and the very luxury at sea can offer.
World Dream will arrive in November 2017 and once completed will be 150,000 gross tons and carrying 3,376 guests at double occupancy. There will also be 18 decks, 1,686 staterooms. The ship will be an identical design to Genting Dream which entered service in 2016. Cruises will depart from Hong Kong and Guangzhou sailing alternating 5-day voyages and a 2-day cruise.
