Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that the upcoming Norwegian Bliss will sail from New York in 2019.
In a morning radio show hosted by Norwegian Bliss godfather, Elvis Duran NCL President Andy Stewart announced that Norwegian Bliss will sail from New York starting in November 2019. The third Breakaway-plus class vessel will, in fact, be the largest cruise ship sailing from the Big Apple.
Norwegian Cruise Line will be offering a total of 18 cruise itineraries including those from Norwegian Bliss. There will be a wide range of roundtrip cruises between 7-day to 14-day sailings. The ship will call in Nassau, Castries, St. John’s, Ocho Rios, San Juan, Basseterre, Roatan Bay Islands, Costa Maya, Cozumel, St. Thomas, Bridgetown, Philipsburg, Harvest Caye, and Great Stirrup Cay as part of the cruise lines options from New York.
Norwegian Bliss is currently under construction in Papenburg, Germany and will be based out of Seattle, Washington sailing 7-day Alaska cruises. For the Winter season starting in 2018, the ship will sail warmer Caribbean waters from PortMiami. After the second Alaska season in 2019, the New York service will begin.

The large vessel will be 167,000 gross tons and be able to carry over 4,000 guests. Find out more about the new cruise ship coming later in 2018.
